The Island has rich history and is covered in scenic walks to cultural sites but the best way to see the Bay of Islands is by water. You can head off on a kayak and snorkelling adventure to the clear waters in Waewaetorea Channel or just escape to a secluded beach to call your own for a few hours. The hardest part of your day out at Otehei Bay and the Islands is choosing when to leave.
